In-Love In-Game

I came home with a CD on top of my CPU. "Homeworld: Final Retail". A full-3D Sci-Fi Strategy game, which takes place in Outer space. The requirements were very low - 166MHz, 2MB RAM, but was still quite slow. The battles are lame when you look at it, but I hope that changes over time and improved in-game technology.

We spent around 30 minutes to a whole hour, thinking of pairs to match with this Internet "Love Calculator". It's really simple: Just enter a name on the first line, enter a second name on the second line, and click "calculate". It's silly, fun, and hilarious. If you have a lot of pairings in mind (or if you set sail on hundreds of shippings), you'll stay there for a while.

Before I go to the results, the location of the calculator is http://www.lovecalculator.com Try it.

When paired with the name "Federico Pascual", I garnished a score of:

0% with chairman_ven
23% with Julie Grace Navarro
24% with Gerard Camacho
46% with Cecilia Santiago
48% with Megumi Kurogane (Gatekeepers)
49% with Vigile Fabella
62% with Tracy Reyes
64% with Tessa Villanueva
68% with Austell Tumampos (neomonpkmn)
69% with Chiharu Ishizu (no, no, not the one in Boys Be. She was my classmate in my College Review)
69% with Elaine Wong
78% with Clair Ching
78% with Ysabelle Reyes
82% with Mae Ang
82% with Rei Ayanami (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
82% with Krizzane Ty
83% with Siggy Peña
88% with Yomiko Readman (Read Or Die)
95% with Addee Uy
99% with Cho Hakkai (Oh my God. Hwahahahaha!) (Gensomaden Saiyuki)

Notes I've made myself:
Entries: 20
Average score: 64.45%

Out of all the pairs we've matched (I estimate a 50+ count), only 4 entries appeared with a 0%
We never got a 100% score, thus, my pair with Cho Hakkai is the highest score among the pairs.

I consider myself as a heavy gamer, but in genré, the lowest number of games I've played is probably Fighting. I've played several Fighting games, but among those that I have really played (for at least a number of months), there are only 3. III. Three. Tatlo. San. Trois. And they're basically connected with each other. X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Street Fighter, and Marvel Vs. Capcom.

I'm going to train myself in Tekken. Not that I'm forcing myself to play the game. The guys let me try Tekken 5, and I actually like it, even if I barely knew any moves or combos in any character. I chose that particular game so 1) I can fight well in versus games since a lot of gamers have at least one Tekken Title in their CD cases, 2) Because we have Tekken 3 in PS1. (I won't use the emulator.) I like Xiaoyu (spelling?), since her fighting style is mostly graceful. Actually, in Soul Calibur, I also liked this Xianghua, if I remember her name correctly. Also graceful in style. But we don't have DreamCast.

Oh, Limit is currently playing Tekken 3. He's a Xiaoyu user, and was originally fond of Law. Everytime the commentator goes "(insert full character name here) wins!", he would go "I always win!"

We'll change things from now on.
(insert evil laugh here)
Oh my God, Kyle and dfg467 does that the best. The evil laugh thing.

Hmmm... Tekken BGMs are nice. I'm going to look for them. That's Namco, right? And this song that arcanusvitae gave to rhianwen_24601 as well. Sounds of old-school consoles' music's beeps and *instruments*. I love it. Thank you, nonetheless.
