IT'S MY FAVORITE STORY! Ready for more lengthy comments? No? TOO BAD.

without fail, a new one appears, sometimes with a different message like, Happy Friday!!! or Tengo un buen dia!!!

True story: I grinned like an idiot.

“Stephanie.”

“Does she spell it with a ‘q-u’?” she asks, not a little snidely, as she starts slicing more tomatoes.

I kind of love Annie for doing this. 1) Because it's completely snide and yet not at the same time because she is, after all, just asking a question. 2) Because it's something I'd totally do.

“Are singing telegrams actually a thing outside of movies? Because I’ve never-”

THERE ARE. My high school had the chorus and student government go around during Valentine's Day and deliver singing telegrams to people. It was both highly amusing and embarrassing for everyone.

“I guess I’ll call and cancel the bouncy castle,” she sighs loudly.

Jeff arches an eyebrow. “That better be sarcasm.”

LOL @ the idea of Jeff in a bouncy castle. Well, I know what MY Ficcy Friday prompt this week will be...

“Okay. Maybe I occasionally display my feelings in an emotional-type way. But I prefer to think of myself as expressive. And that doesn’t mean that I like crying. Or like watching a movie that makes me cry so hard I go through a box of tissues.”

Again - evidence as to why I am Annie Edison. I feel like a lot of girls think this way when it comes to movies. I really hate crying but I do it all the time. And not a pretty cry, either.

“Wait.” Annie’s eyes narrow. “Did you pick this movie so you could do some kind of study on me? Because I’m highly emotional?”

Abed’s eyes shift away. “No. Yes. Sorry.”

CLASSIC ABED. I love it.

Abed’s staring at him intently and Jeff scowls, “You’re doing a voiceover in your head aren’t you?”

“I can’t help it.” He at least has the decency to look semi-guilty about it and Jeff can’t help but laugh.

“Thanks for keeping it to yourself.”

I love this part so much, it's not even funny.

“It’s not a birthday cake. It’s a cake. That has your name on it. And today happens to be your birthday, yes. But that is not a birthday cake. It’s a Jeff-cake!

This is the cutest Annie dialogue I have ever read. It'd be just like her to make an excuse like that!

Also, I love the scene between them in the kitchen. I love how organic and natural it feels for me when I read your Jeff/Annie scenes. They have this sort of natural flow to them, so it doesn't feel forced or OOC to have them in a room and act this way.

As always, I love the story! :D

OMG. This is amazing. My school only ever did candy grams.

LOL @ the idea of Jeff in a bouncy castle. Well, I know what MY Ficcy Friday prompt this week will be...

Someone needs to write this. Or I will once I finish the monstrosity. Can you imagine? He'd be all awkwardness and flailing limbs all over the place. Someone would get hurt.

And I have to give credit where credit is due: 0penhearts came up with the term "Jeff-cake." I fell in love with it and knew it was exactly something Annie would say.

Once again, thank you, thank you!!!
