Chapter 11: The Other Part
Part 1: Inside the Hotel Room
---
Jung Min woke up, realizing how crazy it was an hour ago. First they said they have a rather LARGE interest in each other, then a day later, they already were in love. It was crazy, yes, but...
Wait, Jung Min found no reason why.
He heard a person open the door. He was sure it was Hyung Jun, or else who?
"Good morning-- I mean, afternoon." Hyung Jun looked at his watch. "Did you have a good nap?"
"Yeah." Jung Min said, smiling at him.
"I have to ask, has your brother-in-law been stalking you ever since you got here?"
"No, why's that?"
"I saw him running away with some guy from fans outside of the hotel. What got me suspicious is how did he know we were here, unless he's stalking you. So, that's why."
"I remember telling him I needed to leave, but I didn't tell where!"
"Then he stalked you. Wondering where his brother-in-law was going." Hyung Jun explained.
Jung Min scratched his head. How the heck did Kyu Jong know where he was? Sure, stalking in an option, but... he knew Kyu Jong would never do that. His sister explained how nice Kyu Jong was, how he would let others handle their OWN BUSINESS.
"Well, did he leave?"
"After a large pile of screaming fans, yeah." Hyung Jun approached the other side of the bed, smelling Jung Min's hair. "You have a good shampoo. Or is this your natural scent?"
"Natural. I had my scent since I was a kid."
Hyung Jun smiled, then immediately snatched Jung Min, tickling him.
"Hyung Jun!? Stop!" He tried to stop Hyung Jun from tickling him, but he just kept laughing.
"Don't you like being tickled." He scoffed, still tickling Jung Min.
"No! Please! Stop!" He begged, still laughing. Getting tickled also hurts.
"Fine." Hyung Jun stopped, hugging Jung Min instead.
Jung Min still laughed, but it came to an end anyways.
"Please, don't tickle me. It hurts later on." Jung Min looked up to see a smiling Hyung Jun.
"You missed your flight." He said, brushing off Jung Min's bangs from his forehead.
"So did you."
"No, I'm going at 6." Hyung Jun lied. "So I'm still leaving. You okay without me here?"
Jung Min clutched Hyung Jun's hands.
"Just kidding. But, I will leave tomorrow. Ki Bum has my tickets, as well as his, but he won't be able to return home because I have the keys."
"Oh, well, I also have to return. My noona panics whenever I'm not there. And what she knows is I'm returning today."
"Why?"
"Well, it's a long story."
"Tell me. I can keep up with anything."
"Fine, I will tell it to you."
"When I was a kid, I was sensitive to everything. I could get sick easily. One year, when I was 10, I got ill. I couldn't survive four hours without my family. I would die. And by that, I mean literally. I drank four pills an hour, without them I would be paralyzed, or in a coma. One time, I got lost in the supermarket. My family was so worried about me, because I could die. They made sure every corner of the supermarket was searched. Then, at the vegetable corner, where the carrots were at, they found me. I always know they'd find me there, so it's better to do so. One time, I almost died, got in a coma for six months."
Hyung Jun stared at Jung Min's hair in shock. "N...now?"
"My immune system is a lot stronger now. I still need to drink four pills, but this time every four hours-- wait, what time is it?"
"2:04 PM."
"I have to drink them now." He sighed. He stood up with the blankets [embarrassed to be seen naked], then reached for his jacket. Inside those pockets showed a pill bottle.
"I'll get you water." Hyung Jun stood up as well, then got out of the hotel room, locking the door.
"Hurry." He heard Jung Min say, in a voice that showed panic.
Hyung Jun couldn't believe that Jung Min, who lived his life to the fullest, was so weak when he was young. Was ill.
"Oh my-- what if I'll get it too?!" He asked himself. He looked down, to see his body. And, well, he wasn't looking at his legs, if you know what the writer means. He then touched his lips, opened his mouth, then touched his tongue.
"Oh! What should I do? I'm scared if I'll be as ill as he was!" He ran to the elevator, got to the lobby, and ran out of the hotel.
"But...he needs water. I guess I'll have to help him, somehow."
He went to a store [7/11-- in Seoul there is also a 7/11 store! :D], bought water, then returned to the lobby. It was 2:30.
Hyung Jun hesitated. Should he run after giving the water, or stay there by the older man's side?
He got up the elevator, walked to the hotel room.
"Jung Min, I'm... what the?!" He ran towards the older man, who was having a seizure.
He took four pills from the pill bottle, opened the bottle of water, put the four pills in Jung Min's mouth, put the opening of the water bottle in Jung Min's mouth, then tilted it.
Jung Min stopped shaking. Hyung Jun took the water bottle, then stared at Jung Min with fear, and worry.
"Jung Min, are you okay?"
"Y-yes..." Jung Min looked at him with eyes that were about to cry.
Hyung Jun wiped the tear rolling down, "it's alright. You lived it, Jung Min. You are not dying. As long as I am here I will make sure you stay alive and healthy." He held Jung Min's hand, kissing it gently. Hyung Jun covered Jung Min with the blanket earlier. "Go wear your clothes, we have to buy the earliest tickets back to Seoul. Your noona will be worried, alright. Make sure you call her to say you missed the flight."
Jung Min slowly reached his phone. His hand was trembling.
"N-noona, I won't be able to make it today. I missed my plane, but I'm getting tickets again. No, noona, don't worry about me. You still have more things to worry about. Yeah. Yeah. I drank my medication. Yes, I have a friend coming with me to the airport in case something happens. He's a guy, yeah-- No, noona, not like that. I know what you mean, but...fine, you got me. Yeah, yeah. No, he's not a danger to my health. I might be, yeah."
Danger to HIS health? Hyung Jun felt his heartbeat raise. Jung Min admitted he was a danger to Hyung Jun's health, but how? It couldn't be the illness, no...
"Of course, noona. I'll make sure nothing happens to me. Yeah, yeah." Hyung Jun was about to stand up, when Jung Min grabbed his shirt.
"Bye. Love you too." He hanged up. Jung Min was good when it comes to gathering confidence, changing voices, and pretending everything's fine when it's really not. Jung Min rested his head on Hyung Jun's shoulder.
"Has this happened to you more than once?" Hyung Jun asked.
"No...my noona always makes me drink and prepare it five minutes before the time." He answered, letting a tear roll down. "When I was struggling to stay alive a long time ago, before blacking out and getting a coma, I thought what would happen to my life. I was imagining my life, watching it for minutes. I knew I was going to die, I knew it. But, then, you saved my life. When I was about to give up and die, you came there. I thought you left me because you didn't want to trouble your life with a sick me."
"Jung Min, I said no matter what, I will never leave you behind, dying because it took me thirty minutes to give you bottled water. Blame me. I made you almost die."
Jung Min let out a content sigh, "I'm letting you handle my life, then. I'm leaving my life in your hands."
"Sure."
