First in business - I made the most fantastic french toast ever yesterday morning. I don't even really love french toast. I think there's only been two times i've really adored it. When Jess made it for me - (what can I say, it was delicious.)
...and yesterday. I am never eating it without mascarpone again. And home made syrup wins everything. (love)
Christmas has been wonderful! I was able to spend it with the family and then we went over to my grandmothers and I baked a little bit. It was nice just to spend time and laugh and talk about things from the past. It was a really delightful and calming holiday. I think I prefer it that way. It really is the small things that make me happy! Uuuuu~
I got ...uh...way too much random stuff to name. The main things were an LCD moniter. (omg it is shiny. I can actually see my screen. *desk*) Sephora lashes, external HD, ect ect ect.
Though I did get the most sparkly eyeglass chain. It was insanely expensive and it is so quirky. I don't think I am ever taking it off. (Plus now I wont leave my glasses everywhere. YAY.)
Also clothes because GOD I NEED THEM. I only live in the north - why do I only have one decent sweater?
And yen. Because if I get actual USD I will spend it and will be BROKE IN JAPAN.
In the mean time here is some
My personal little Christmas tree. YES I know it is sparse. I meant to decorate it more and string it with lace. (Because I am terribly girl like that.) But when I went to Jo-annes to get lace - I got distracted and ended up leaving with pink ribbon and a penguin teapot. sigh.
Those are my cats gifts under the tree. I LOVE SPOILING HER.
I'm starting early on the road to being a crazy cat lady, thank you very much. ♥
Yes, I am aware I have way too many books. But I love them in all of their askew glory. Thats not even all of them, as a bazillion more are discarded around my room in random places.
And also, because I am turning into a cat myself apparently.
I am too lazy and feeling under the weather to care thats its blurry. Apparently we had straw in the back of the car for the dog house outside. I am horridly allergic to straw and was sick most the way home. It is slowly going away though, so I should be good by tomorrow!
I think that ended up being very ADD.
Also, I was a really happy child.
Now I am beyond amused watching the cat freak out over catnip bubbles.
I LOVE YOU ALL TERRIBLY. I don't even know how much to say it. ♥
Also, completely random but my grammar is much more terrible than I anticipated. I've been really distressed by this - but so many habits are ingrained I'm not sure how to fix them.
And, now that the stress of the holiday season is mainly over I need to get late gifts for friends and get ready for Ohayocon and Japan.
AHHH freaking out. Need a nap.
(Oh and was it last week or the week before? I watched the entire LOTR series despite the fact I have it all on DVD and AHH IT WAS NOSTALGIC.)
