eye candy!

urgh! my left eye has been twitching for the past few hours. it's HIGHLY irritating!! i keep on putting my forefinger to the tips of my eye in the bid to control the twitching. obviously, it's a tiring job. imagine doing that for a few minutes. it's TORTURE i tell you. heck, it's akin to being punished by my ex-primary school teacher who once asked me to put a finger to my lips to silence me.

grrr... there the twitching goes again! in fact, it has been twitching ever since i started blogging this entry.

on a more jovial and gatal note...

i met my eye candy yesterday! *jumps around in glee* he was the moderator for the religious forum held at the mosque i went to yesterday. by some stroke of luck, i got to sit right at the front and this automatically granted me full access to look at him without the need to be discreet. *grins big time*

okay okay. lest you think that i walked away from the religious forum with nothing but thoughts of him...*tsk tsk* nah-ah. i did learn something ok! one of the things that struck me most was this: rahmat vs rahmah. the former is the blessings that Allah had given/bestowed upon us while the latter is His love for us. anyway, the uztaz and uztazah at the forum yesterday emphasized the need and importance of praying to Allah for these.

now, i'm sure you're all more than aware of the importance of receiving rahmat from Him and therefore, i'll not dwell on this. as for rahmah, we DO need Allah to love us. as humans, we're all creatures of fallacies. not only that, we depend on Him for everything. if He takes away even an iota of the blessings that He has bestowed upon us thus far (e.g. something as small as the use of our thumbs), we're bound to encounter lots of difficulties in life. therefore, we should always constantly be reminded of the blessings Allah has given us thus far and at the same time, hope that He loves us for if He were to take away the blessings or worst, not care for us... well... just imagine how our lives might turn out.
