OH GOD! THAT WAS PERFECT! I'm still sporting a huge grin I had all the way reading this. I love it, love how you started it with the same issues that bothered you in fact and then used that to work for you. It was incredibly witty. I loved both of your losers, but maybe I found Reita the social butterfly just a little bit more amusing Unlike Uruha, he went on many social outings, honing his skills with the fairer sex and training himself in the art of holding one’s booze. That works so great for the image of Reita I have in my mind :) And I just love the easy way you made them so close Uruha was just a loser studying what had already gone down, who happened to be the noisiest masturbator Reita had ever heard. without any afterthought and uneasiness, just boys being best friends.

The descriptions of hangover Reita were so so amusing.

Late in the afternoon, Reita joined Uruha in the kitchen, but only after rolling out of bed and onto the floor with a thud.
“Did you sleep well?” Uruha asked. Reita stared, eyelids heavy, mouth cottony, and life sucking. Well, he thought so.
I kept imagining it in my head and chuckling at everything, God, just the image of Reita falling on the floor. And I loved the 'life sucking' part. It is just you use such simple descriptions, but the way you connect them and add something I find just a little bit unusual and the whole construction turns brilliant. I really like that about you :)

The Greek mythology thing was love! Reita's comments just made it so much better. “He killed Spiderman? What a douchebag.” I am just amazed xDDD I'll admit Uruha lost me with the quoting too, but not completely so I wouldn't have noticed what he was doing there! In the end I am not so sure he doesn't have the evil scheming bitch hidden somewhere deep inside him, because he played Reita out perfectly. And I just love the easy way they come about it and then just settle again in their boring unpredictable friendship like nothing of importance happened.

You just win! :D
