Oooooooh. This is lovely! The first part, especially, is wonderfully evocative. I love what it says, and what it doesn't say, and this line: The insult is the same. .... oh, Regulus! I also love the ending - Regulus doing something on his own, and no one else even knows about it. You've captured him wonderfully.
