DEAR QUEEN #8

Author's Note: So, as your authors have been working on War is Never Cheap Here (so much editing!), we've found various ways to keep ourselves amused. Mostly, it's with these letters - written by Bann Teagan as a parody of the letters Ser Cauthrien will be sending to Queen Anora as she investigates the Bann and reports in. They're just a bit of fun, to accompany the serious story we're writing, and we hope you enjoy them!

DEAR QUEEN,

DURING A BREAK IN OUR INVESTIGATION, TEAGAN TOOK ME FOR A NICE PICNIC OUT AWAY FROM THE ESTATE, AND PRYING EYES. I WAS ABLE TO LEARN THAT HE HAS A NEED FOR SYMMETRY, A KEEN EYE FOR THE BALANCED NATURE OF THINGS.

I BELIEVE THIS COULD BE OF A BENEFIT TO THE KINGDOM.

ALSO, HE ASKED ME TO ATTEND HIM WHILE HE SPOKE TO THE FAMILY OF THE MISSING GIRL, EVEN WHEN I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS WISE. THEY MAY NOT HAVE WARMED TO ME DURING OUR VISIT, BUT I THINK IT IS RIGHT THAT I SEE THESE FAMILIES, AND THAT HE CONVINCED ME TO GO.

MARKED.
SINCERELY,
SER CAUTHRIEN (PROBABLY)

silliness, dear queen
