i enjoyed a yummie or is yummy (pausing to check at merriamwebster.com), a yummy homemade, vegatarian pizza last evening. am dreaming of having a piece later.
mom's best friend's funeral and the upcoming departure of another friend will leave her with just one still breathing. and this breathing friend of mom's is a challenge for me. *rolls eyes* anyway, my sister reports that mom spends most days in her house, which is a pleasant place to be, and usually watches tv or reads. she complains that the shortness of breath from her recently acquired asthma makes ventuing outdoors difficult. she's always been a complainer which makes taking her seriously troublesome. anyway, losing all your friends to the inevitable must be lonely, sad, depressing. i suppose i should talk to her about it, maybe i'll call a bit later when i'm done here.
