a whole buncha things!
Last time I checked in was at the end of August so here I am!
SCHOOL: Since my last post, I've started school. It's starting off pretty decent but I can already tell that West and the World History will be giving me trouble, International Business will be tiring (not from work but because I could easily fall asleep in that class), and Functions will be the only class I like. My spare is pretty great too but that's not a class.
My school is still under construction. Most of the new windows are put in, but the outside is still a mess even more so than inside (ie. the library has holes in the ceiling now and one hallway has two different tiles). Apparently the library is getting A/C but it's supposed to be finished AFTER I graduate. Couldn't it have been done for summer school this year?! I was dieing!!!!
Uta no Prince-sama: LOL YES IT GETS IT'S OWN SECTION! Has anyone watched the latest episodes? I SO TOTALLY SAW WHAT HAPPENED COMING! I was squealing all over the place again since this week's episode was TOKIYA-CENTRIC and lately, he's been smiling and looking sexy.
Plus, seeing him shirtless and sleeping didn't help me at all
Also, things are coming to a close soon if the series is only supposed to be like 13-episodes or something. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE NOW?!?! I can't even play the games because I can't understand Japanese for the life of me, and there are no english patches! DEAR GOD I HOPE SOMEONE BRINGS IT OVER TO CANADA/USA.
Anime/Manga: In other news, I've started reading The Sleepy Residents of Birdcage manor and am caught up to where it's been scanlated so far. I really like the story and the art is super pretty, so it's a win/win for me since I've been looking for another manga to keep tabs on in addition to the titles that I've been following for a while (Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, Skip Beat!, Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu, Vampire Knight, and of course Barajou no Kiss). Another manga I really like (and has new chapters currently being released each week?) is V.B. Rose so if anyone likes shoujo and wants something new to read, check any of the titles above! I also have a long list of other series I like that I haven't listed anywhere, so just ask me if you want anything :)
I've also started watching Katekyo Hitamn Reborn and Macross Frontier which were two series I've been meaning to check out for a while. So far, I like them both! At first, I couldn't stand Tsuna's voice but it's kind of growing on me now? And I really like the music used in Macross Frontier, which was one of the reasons I decided to watch it. I always watch the anime first before reading the manga counter part (if there is one) but I'm not sure why....
Tom Felton: So if anyone remembers, I met Tom Felton a couple of weekends ago and probably mentioned that my picture would be mailed to me in a week. WELL IT FINALLY CAME! And because I am so excited and not ashamed of how I look in it (lmao) I've decided to post it here (so click the link) since it was too big for this journal when I scanned it~
And that's it for now. I'm still working away on my TCG and updating my card posts for the TCGs I'm most active in right now based on how I'm feeling that day plus trying to convince and force myself to do homework, so I'll be going now! I'll probably still be lurking around LJ though if anyone comments/wants to talk so :)
