Hey Steve, this is for you.

I was wondering if you'd be able to fix my laptop and I'd compensate you?
Remember my keyboard on my laptop broke like a year and a half ago? I was wondering if I bought the part if I could pay you to fix it? Is that something you might be able to do/have time for?

Laptops are generally harder to fix than desktops only because the hardware in laptops is compacted and they usually need custom parts and stuff. I wouldn't mind trying though, it could be something simple.

Christine's laptop had a fan that broke over a year ago (and it keeps overheating and shutting off). I tried for a week to even take the laptop apart to get to the fan. My dad brought it into his electronic shop to try and get it apart too, but he couldn't. Sometimes they're just sealed up so good that you're not supposed to be able to take it apart, haha.

But yeah, I can definitely look at it at some point.
