Great actors always know when it’s time for the curtain call, so this Christmas prepare for your hearts to break, as we say goodbye to number eleven. Thank you, Matt - bow ties were never cooler. x

I was not much of a stan of Doctor Who but I did enjoy the show from time to time and I really have some great memories with watching Matt Smith play as 11. Ex: Finally giving in to my sister and watching all the episodes with her, bawling our eyes out together during the Vincent and the Doctor and The end of Ponds episodes, rambling over theories, naming our cat after River Song, GOING TO COMIC-CON AND WONDER CON FOR DOCTOR WHO SNEAK PEAKS and just seeing my sister completely over the moon happy/excited/smitten/overwhelmed and fan-girling over Matt Smith at panels was pretty great too.(plus all the things she did for love...) It breaks my heart to see him go. If I learned one thing from 11 is that every single person has a purpose and meaning in this world no matter big or small. I had a lot more to say but I can't really phrase it. Oh well. Geronimo!
