Well, I'm sore and tired tonight. I'd forgotten how much not having insurance sucks (only two more months left). Besides being poked, prodded, and needled, I had to shell out $300+ for it all, but was only expecting half that... Ouch.
I hate -HATE- needles, even tiny ones, so I wasn't happy that she had to jab me to get a small blood sample. Worse, she wants me to come back in about 3 months so she can draw a good vial of blood to do tests on. (Crap, she wants to put that HUGE needle in my arm??) *shudder* I'm such a wimp.
Well, she said i'd get a call back by Wednesay or so with results from the tests she did today. We'll have to wait three months to do the rest of the tests and bloodwork, but insurance should be up and usable by then. More pain from my body, less pain from my wallet, hopefully.
*sigh*
in other news, i've gotten to see a few of my friends from high school in the past week or so. That's been great, have been able to catch up a little bit on the past few years. Found out so-and-so had a baby right after highschool, this person's married but is waiting for kids, ext, ext. Have been chatting a lot with one of my old friends, and that's been really helpful and uplifting.
And speaking of kids... ANNABELLE IS A MOMMY! Congratulations dear! Cant wait to see you up and about online, sharing pics! I bet he's a cutie. :-)
