(no subject)
imagine that, kellys updating! heres a shortened version of life:
- rachel and i had an amazing trip- pics
- relaxing with the fam is amazing
- it is majorly hot here
- i was bored for awhile, i'm used to having three million things to do
- i'm trying to learn to cook
- my cousin matt brought his girlfriend brynn here to propose :)
- i wish i had my scrapbooking stuff
- um... i hope to come back with beaucoup de shoes (its soldes time in paris--mmm i shall hit the sales soon!)
- i bought the best dress
- i planted a mini herb garden and some yellow begonias... my favorite... they're sooo pretty
- painted my room (and unfortunately part of the ceiling) green. still working on the room... its theme is peyton, from one tree hill. silly, i realize. but it will work eventually
- started french lessons, bah. 3 days a week for three hours right in the city. they're frustrating, but i really really want to learn. my problem is that my vocab is shot... i think i'm going to try and transfer to a lower class tomorrow. i sit next to a nun in class
- celeste (and her friend sophie) are here!
- i'm annoyed that LJ has overwrite, but too lazy to figure out how to turn it off
- i've become addicted to facebook
- i'm coming home in less than a month
- you know how they give out cheese or pretzel or pasta samples at the grocery store? the other day, they were giving out vodka samples.
- AIM triton signs me off constantly, anyone know why/how to fix?
- remember that boy i was pining over? paris is not the distraction i had hoped it was. celeste/sophie/i did a river cruise and had to make a wish and kiss our neighbor going under a certain bridge. guess what mine was. bah, wheres the cute french boy to distract me??
- i miss a certain group of kids that call me kellykknox <3
- i love it when france plays in the world cup, too entertaining (even though i barely watch the games)
- we bought waterguns, hehe. emily and i paint pictures on the wall of the house next door :)
- ^she makes me laugh like none other
- i've discovered the enjoyment of MASH, Ipods, and soduku. i realize theyre totally unrelated
- study abroad seems... towards lugano switzerland
- blogthings told me today that i'm like cookie monster and my color is red and i belong in sweden- i was on a roll.
- making plans for clet hall staff next year <3
- honeymoon plans are being called into question- i always wanted mediterranean cruise, but perhaps greece instead. or south africa (not so romantic, but i sooo want to go there someday. that, and sailing jimmy-buffett style have been added to my lifetime to-do-list)
- and i <3 jimmy buffett. and joe firstman, new obsession thanks to apstugis
