nicholaw and I were surprised on Saturday when the removal firm turned up. They were not impressed when we informed them that we were moving on Monday, although we were 95% packed... Some frantic throwing things in boxes occurred while they spoke to the guy subcontracting them. Eventually they agreed on Monday.
Monday came, stuff was moved! We now have a shiny new flat with a balcony. And lots of things in boxes. And no beds. We didn't like the beds in Ikea, so we're going to try elsewhere (again). Fortunately with rollmats, and old duvet and sleeping bags, the floor isn't uncomfortable for now.
BT say we'll have a new phone line on Friday, after which we can order internets. So far managing without broadband by abusing unlimited mobile access. Yay for 3G!
Oh, and I may have accidently bought a new PC while sitting about. Next day delivery when buying at 7:30pm is great!
