Here's another one! This is the last set of scans I have for 2004, so I might do a few from different years until I get more scans for 2004 :)
This month we have Ohno and Sho doing some silly flirting, Dots interrupting Tackey, Nagase obsessing over Tegoshi, Okada looking out for Nino, Koyama yelling at Aiba, and more.
SEPTEMBER 2004
KinKi Kids
Domoto KoichiTo all of the fans,
The editing of the DVD for my solo concert has been completed. This time we really took care to create an entire world within the show, so the editing was much harder than usual. So even though the fans might want to see more close-ups, there aren't as many as in the KinKi concerts. Of course that doesn't mean there aren't any at all. But we really paid attention to the details, and we thought up a lot of cool stuff for the special features, so please look forward to the release.
Name something you've helped out with before.
I remember helping chop onions and slicing into my finger really badly. It went way in and didn't stop until it hit my nail. I remember that really well. I think I also helped clean the bathtub. But that's only a vague memory.Tackey & Tsubasa
Takizawa HideakiTo (Domoto) Tsuyoshi-kun,
When I went to see Shounentai's play "WEST SIDE STORY" you were sitting next to me. While I was really getting into the play, you kept interrupting by saying things like "Take off your pants! If you do it now no one will notice!" and asking me "If I start spacing out, say "Please stop" to get me out of it," and it was really hard to pay attention to you and the play at the same time (lol). Next time please be careful (lol).
Name something you've helped out with before.
I liked helping out with the cooking. But it wasn't like I helped with the actual cooking, I did stuff like roll the gyoza or cut up the ingrediants. Except I didn't like peeling things. It doesn't really seem like I did much cooking. But when I cut up the ingrediants, I could tell "These are the carrots I cut" (lol).V6
Inohara YoshihikoTo Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa)
I saw the message you wrote in last month's Wink Up...when I see you guys I think...both you and Akanishi are those types. You're nothing but those types. But that's what life's about.
Name something you've helped out with before.
When I was a kid, we went to my grandma's house in Kagoshima during summer break, and we could get 10 yen spending money for each fly we caught. One year there was an unusually large number of flies and I got 500yen, but I was considered rich among the other kids so the atmosphere became really heavy...Arashi
Ohno SatoshiTo (Sakurai) Sho-kun,
Long time no see~. We haven't eaten out together at that place I go to a lot lately, have we~. The person that works there asked us to come again. So come on! Let's go! Next time let's take our time and have a conversation. We don't have a chance to do that very often. There's lots of stuff I want to talk to you about, so what do you think?
Name something you've helped out with before.
Weeding the garden, washing dishes, cleaning the bathtub...I did everything. Because if I helped out, my mom would be really pleased with me. There was a huge difference in her happy face when I helped out, and her expression when I didn't help out (lol).Arashi
Sakurai ShoTo Ohno (Satoshi)-kun,
Long time no see~. Lately you haven't gotten in touch with me and I've been lonely~. Which reminds me, we haven't been to that one place in a while. When I went it just came to mind. Let's go! We defininitely have to go! I have tons of stuff to talk to you about-. We should take our time and chat. ...What are we doing?
Name something you've helped out with before.
My grandfather had a garden at his house where he grew vegetables. I helped out with that. I think that's when I was in the early years of elementary school. There were all kinds of vegetables, like daikon raddish, eggplant, cucumbers...TOKIO
Matsuoka MasahiroTo the following people,
To Akiyama (Jun). I read your message from last month, where you said "When can I become your white horse?" That's impossible. You're a workhorse (lol). Or maybe a donkey (lol).
To Nagano (Hiroshi)-kun. Great job on your play. It was really good.
To (Miyake) Ken. We see each other a lot lately.
Name something you've helped out with before.
I never really "helped out" with chores. The cooking, the laundry, I did it all so it was beyond the level of "helping." That's why I can do sewing, cooking, and everything.KinKi Kids
Domoto TsuyoshiTo (Nagase) Tomoya-Baby,
Give me one of your amps. You have too many (lol). You've got one you don't use right? I really want to try doing a concert together soon.
Name something you've helped out with before.
I did a lot. I was a good kid, ya know (lol). I helped with the cleaning, washing, cooking, shopping, and hanging the laundry to dry, but I don't think I put the clothes in the washing machine. When I went to help mom, she was already doing it with my sister. V6
Okada JunichiTo Nino (Ninomiya Kazunari),
Ninomiya-kun, how are you doing? Lately, I've been thinking about you. It seems like you're really busy with your drama "Minami-kun no Koibito," so please take care of yourself and do your best![1]
Name something you've helped out with before.
When my friend and his girlfriend went to Okinawa on vacation, for some reason I drove them to the airport. And it was at 4am (sob). And then when I drove home alone I was all lonely for no reason...Johnny's Jr.
Kazama ShunsukeTo Ayukawa Taiyou-kun,
Have you finished creating your "Teddy"? I'm sure you've thought about it a lot, but I'm looking forward to seeing your Teddy in "Stand By Me." What should we eat that day?
Name something you've helped out with before.
I've done everything. I'm almighty. If I had to name one thing, I guess I'd say helping out at KAT-TUN's concert? (lol)TOKIO
Nagase TomoyaTo Tesshi (Tegoshi Yuya) again,
I'm sorry, Tesshi. I opened up your page again. This has to be fate, it says you like nattou rolls and tuna? I'll go out and catch a tuna, so please try eating it. Oooh, so girls wearing mini skirts make your heart race. For me it's yukatas, I guess. Oh yeah, do you ever say "Yutaka" instead of "Yukata"? That happens to me a lot, it's so embarassing. Okay, I'll talk to you later, Tesshi.
Name something you've helped out with before.
Lately I've gotten really into futsal, and I'll do stuff like join the other team as the keeper. If it's your own team and you let a ball by, you can say "I'm sorry!", but it's really bad if the ball gets by the keeper. The pressure is really high.NEWS
Kusano HironoriTo Kokubun (Taichi)-kun and Nagase (Tomoya)-kun,
I actually go to the same hair salon as you guys. I don't think I'll see you guys there, but if you do see me, please "wink" at me. It's okay if you don't want to speak to me. Please, just do something. How about doing my hair? (lol)
Name something you've helped out with before.
I was a newspaper boy. My grandfather did it, so when I stayed at his house I'd do it with him. We stayed there on a lot of saturdays and sundays. Being a paper boy is a tough job, but the juice I got to drink afterwords was really good.Kansai Johnny's Jr.
Murakami ShingoTo the following people,
To (Domoto) Koichi-kun. Sorry about the other day. Er- I didn't really have a reason for calling you. I'm glad you seemed well. I know you didn't really want to, but please do a "Konban wan tsu-" for us!
To (Joshima) Leader. I will be joining the "Hagure Keiji~" cast. I've heard a lot of rumors on the set, but if you have the chance, please talk to me about your memories from when you were on the show. And of course, please wear your pompadour hair!
Name something you've helped out with before.
Cleaning the bathtub. I got 10 yen for each time I cleaned it. And if I filled it with hot water after I finished, I got 20 yen. I could also get 10 yen for washing dishes, 5 yen for carrying the dishes, and 30 yen for vacuuming my own room. But I don't remember ever getting the money...It all went toward taxes. That's the way things are in the Murakami family.Johnny's Jr.
Tanaka KokiTo A.B.C.,
This is about what we talked about before - definitely invite me. I really want to try out street dance again.
Name something you've helped out with before.
I have three younger brothers, so I'd do stuff like pick them up from kindergarten and take them to kids movies all the time.Kansai Johnny's Jr.
Shibutani SubaruTo Tackey & Tsubasa-san,
It seems you guys showed a video of me singing at your concert tour this year. I'd like to thank you for showing it at such a large venue, but at some point we need to meet and talk about my fee... (lol). I'll get in touch with you alter, so please think about it carefully (lol). It would have been better if you had asked me in advance, but, well, it's no big deal (lol).
Name something you've helped out with before.
Cooking the rice. And sometimes, reaally rarely, I'd give my mom shoulder massages. When I was in kindergarten, I'd give her a "5 free massages ticket" for mothers day. Little Subaru would say things like "Because 5 times is all I can do it~."Arashi
Aiba MasakiTo everyone in Kanjani,
Lately I've been watching "Ura Jani" a lot. Even through the TV, I can feel how much fun you guys are having. I'll watch it again.
Name something you've helped out with before.
Something helpful...I haven't really done anything. Well, I gave shoulder massages, but that's about it (lol). NEWS
Uchi HirokiTo Shige (Kato Shigeaki),
I lent you a CD, didn't I. Hurry up and give it back (lol).
Name something you've helped out with before.
Just with stuff like the shopping. When my mom had a cold and was feeling down, I would go to "Izumi-ya." But since I was little, I was told to do whatever I could for myself on my own, so I can do most things. So I could live on my own at any time.NEWS
Koyama KeiichiroTo Aiba (Masaki)-kun,
You told me to text you and I did, but you've never replied (Next to him, Yamapi says "He still hasn't replied?"). I didn't want to have to write about it in a magazine, but I've run out of options. Please reply to my texts. I've even said to your manager "Please tell Aiba-kun to reply to my text!" so I thought the message would have gotten to you but... And you were the one who asked me to text you in the first place... (lol).
Name something you've helped out with before.
I helped out at my family's ramen shop. I'd do stuff like washing the dishes or bringing orders out to the customers, like "Here's your miso ramen!" When I was little, I helped out a lot.Johnny's Jr.
Hasegawa JunTo the following people,
To Roberto Baggio-san. Congratulations on reaching 22 years. You're a true fantasy star. Thank you for all of the touching moments!
To all of the Korean actors. All of you are referred to as "XX-sama" on TV. I'd like to be called "XX-sama" too, is that okay? (lol)
Name something you've helped out with before.
When I was little I helped out with the housework. I'd put the food on the table and stuff. Recently, I helped one of my friends who was setting off on his own with his move.Johnny's Jr.
Ueda TatsuyaTo the following people,
To Maru (Maruyama Ryuhei). I read your message in last month's Wink Up. Please don't say things to destory my image. I have an image to maintain you know. Also, when you're talking to me, please add "sama" to the end of my name.
To Kame-chan. .....Ah, nevermind (lol).
To Koichi-kun. Since you know a lot about cars, I'd like to ask you something. Please teach me the best way to accelerate and reach the highest speed.
Name something you've helped out with before.
I helped out with everything. I'd cook or run errands and stuff. If I was told to do something, I'd do it. Because I used to be a better person (lol).
1 - Nino admitted years later that he was actually pretty ill and was hospitalized during the summer he was doing this drama + 24hourTV + concerts. Maybe Okada noticed that he didn't seem well?
Thank you
jessui for the help on Hina's answer to the monthly question :)
