(no subject)
My parents are going to buy me a MacBook for my 21st or pay for some of it. I don't really care either way, but mom mentioned getting me something and I think a MacBook is better than jewelry. (Sometimes. Haha.)
After doing a lot of research, I have decided to buy the original white MacBook. (I don't want anything bigger than a 13" screen, so I didn't even look at the MacBook Pro.) As of right now, I would pay $300 more for the basic aluminum one (& it's a little bit slower). The white one is supposed to be less durable, gets dirty easier, etc. But I've always connected white products with Apple and it's one of the things I love about the brand. White is so tidy and clean and simple, it's also why I haven't upgraded my original white iPod nano. If they went back to making a nice white one I probably would. Anyways, I already bought a clear case & wrist/keyboard protector for it. And, I have a wireless keyboard & mouse to use if I want to be extra careful.
I'm really excited! I think I will buy it sometime next week, and hopefully it will come a week after that. I want to time it right so it will come after class is over. I know I'll spend all my free time playing on it.
I feel like I'm finally joining Lynsi & Cory & Twigg in the Mac world, haha! PC defector!
