Slow down young uns'
I have been busy tonight helping Megan get ready for camp. She is so excited and her friend Kristen is going. She is growing up so fast, and I think camp will be extra special for her this year. Megan and Tim ask me why don't you work at camp no more? Well the answer to that is, I am tired. I put my time in with camp, now it is time for the young adults to put their time in.
I was sitting here and remembering when they were all younger. I am glad I held firm in issues of dating and working and stuff. Kids grow up so fast, and they need time to enjoy their youth before the responsibilities of life gets them. I made them mad, but when I see others their age struggling along because of relationships they were not ready for, I feel like I done right by them. I am babbling, I think I will get ready for bed. The moral to my story is simple. Slow down young uns', you don't have to be in a hurry, you don't have to have a relationship all the time, and you don't really need to be tied down by debt to get items that won't matter in a few years any way. Enjoy your life, and take it one day at a time. OK, I'm done.........
