I fail at honoring my commitments in life, today and yesterday, pretty much. I'm tired today, too tired to keep studying and too tired to reply to some cool emails with anything coherent, so naturally, the thing to do is not sleep but go prowling for new fic.
And I found this: Confined Insects, a J2 AU by homo_pink, in which Jared goes to New Orleans and meets Jensen. Holy shit, you guys, go read that fic! Without spoiling too much, I must say that it was the most unexpected, the most perfect thing to stumble upon at three in the morning. It has love and longing like I wish I could write them. And it's so beautiful, and the city in it is so real. And then I caught wind of something and went, Wow, what is it that I'm reading?? O.o Nope, I don't mean the hookers. Seriously, go read it. Preferably at night, with the lights off - it's that sort of fic.
