You know, I raised you from a little itty bitty seed of thought to the fantastic character you are today. Yes, your history is rather unfortunate and has caused for you quite a few... mental instabilities... but I expect some fucking appreciation. I don't care how angry you get, or that I'm a mere mortal! I made you, and you better start treating me like that. As far as I am concerned you are eternally indebted to me. You hear me? Eternally.
Sure, I make the one person you open up to back-stab you, and I made your mother and father completely ignore you, but I gave you power and plenty of it. You've got a pretty damn nifty set of vamparic powers, and I even let you occasionally have magic abilities if the RP calls for it. On top of that, you have your own Kingdom. Full of beautiful people. And you know I try to make sure you still have that in whatever RP that it seems feasible. And you are beautiful. Really? Do you want me to make you a goddamn mary-sue? You're already beautiful, smart, and strong. You need your insanity, your violence, your short temper, and your obsessions. As much as I know you'd love it, I won't make you perfect. You would be to boring that way.

While I put you through a lot, it has done nothing but made you a fuller character. Yes, even those voices in your head. How long would it take you to make a non-vital action if Kano wasn't constantly bugging you, "now is the time, Nanashi"? How long would you wait for a perfect opportunity? That's right. Until your hand was forced. Not to mention he reminds you that you aren't without a conscience. Sure, it's a skewed conscience, but every time you hear his voice your stomach knots in guilt, doesn't it? Not to mention the way you protect children. Would a person without a conscience do anything that didn't help them? Oh sure, you say that they are the future society and/or food source, but we both know that the effort you put into protecting them goes far beyond improving society.
You're always good at putting up a farce. Even your sexual exploits. Of course you like to "feel good", but you really just want to be wanted. You want to be noticed. You need to be seen, to be desired, to be valued. And you need that attention in all modes of society.
Of course, you won't ever be valued for more than your body, for more than your empirical decisions until you begin to trust someone. Until then you'll only serve purposes. No one can keep loving without love in return, and it's love- real love, not that smut - that will make you really feel valued. Feeling that toward someone else might also get you to stop being so selfish.
You laugh now, sure. You mock my "weakness". Just wait. Eventually we'll find the right character, and you'll feel love again, and you'll be forced against everything that is you to open up again, just like you did for Kano.
Yes, I'm cruel enough to do that to you, but also merciful enough. Maybe a mutual relationship will help you fix some things. Maybe you'll even stop hearing your mother and Kano. Wouldn't that be great?
Now, I know you want to rip my neck out for suggesting such blasphemy, but keep in mind who I am.
