It hasn't been very long since Clark's last visit, and concurrently his encounter with Aldar. He has a lot of things to sort through yet. But April looks like she needs someone. Needs him. "I think so. It depends on the reasons why they do evil things. What happened?"
Murders are never a good thing, especially so close on the heels of what he saw in Seattle. He moves to hug her. "I'm sorry to hear that. Do the police have any leads?"
"The are investigating other missing people. Because according to a message left at the scene, this murder wasn't the first." April finds comfort and strength in his arms.
"Yes," is the instantaneous reply. "With one we have proof, with the other we have suspicions. Sometimes those suspicions are accurate, sometimes we consider things evil because we have been told to consider them evil."
"But if you didn't have the proof then you wouldn't know he was evil to call him evil so you would not ask yourself the question."
At the second comment Lichtenstein sighs. "Only because people fuss and whine and poke and complain about it until the core idea is so complicated that justice becomes a minefield to navigate. Defining what is 'wrong' and what is 'right' is incredibly easy if people just think logically."
Rock just shakes his head at that. "People are people. I don't want to judge someone just because of what they are. What someone does, and why they did it is much more important."
"I know a lot of mad scientists who'd be ticked if somebody suggested all their hard work doing evil was no different than a kid stealing gum for kicks. Haha--uh. I hope this wasn't a personal question, I didn't mean to make fun."

"And sometimes it is hard to truly define evil."

"But one person's definition of wrong and right is different than anothers."
