Victor walks into the Nexus, glancing around idly and taking in the usual crowd of people. He looks better than he did the last time he was here -- the exhausted look is gone, and he's standing up a little straighter. His expression is calm and controlled -- he looks comfortable. At ease.
And yet. . .there's something ever so slightly off about him today. It's something about his too-perfect posture, his too-calm expression. They don't seem very Victorish, for some reason. And there's something wrong about his eyes, though you would be hard-pressed to name exactly what. Just -- something that's not quite right.
He stops near the sign, regards it for a moment, then turns to the Nexus at large. "Excuse me," he says, in a voice that's just a touch off too (too cool, too easy). "But how do you get rid of that annoying little voice in your head?"
(OOC: Okay, as you probably already guessed, this isn't exactly Victor.
He got possessed recently by none other than the King of Hearts. You see, as the Queen is linked to Alice, the King is linked to Alice's love, and that unfortunately means bad things for Victor. More explanation will be given as interaction occurs, but here's a note: If you're capable of sensing such things (telepathic, able to see souls, stuff like that), you'll probably notice that Victor's been trapped in the back of his own brain, where he's begging the King not to hurt his friends or kill him.)
