"Hmm?" The man looks up at the ship with no trace of surprise in his expression or body language.

If I can take you anywhere...

"Oh. Thank you for the offer, but I'm well supplied with transportation. My wife and my two eldest son have quite a lovely collection of classic cars." A slight smile comes to the man's face and eyes.

So, what would be wrong with this one?

A sniff as his disapproving gaze goes back to the Delorian. "It's ugly, tastelessly ostentatious, and utterly lacking in anything remotely resembling class."

Well, I don't know about these, but this one looks less ugly than some others I've come across here or elsewhere.

"Oh, if you ever see a classic Corvette, or Barracuda, or a lovely Shelby Cobra, you'd see just exactly what I mean."

Never seen these. There aren't any things like this on my planet, the technology's too low. I only saw whatever showed here.

"Here." He lifts his butt a bit so that he can reach into his pocket for his wallet, then quickly leafs through a small sheaf of snapshots before smirking smugly and holding up the one he wants. "That is a Shelby Cobra. And the stunning lady laying on the hood is my wife."

The picture shows the beautiful vintage car, its cobalt blue paint gleaming in the sun as a strong looking but very lovely dark-haired lady sprawls over the hood and grins at the camera.

Nice. Although I wouldn't be a good judge either on humans or on cars.
I admit the cars look quite different (and both look nice), but I wouldn't be able to have a preference here, as there would have to be other practical aspects to it that I wouldn't be able to test. You forget I'm a ship. Maybe you would like to change the colour?

"No." He waves a hand dismissively. "Colour has nothing to do with it. There is nothing that could make this monstrosity appealing."

I admit it could seem ugly, with the angles everywhere. Where did you get it? Maybe you could change it for something different? Otherwise, I'm sorry I can't be of any help. I don't know anybody who would be interested by this.
"Yuck. I can't get in it, I can't carry it and nobody I know would be able to use it." *says another ship smaller than Stats*
Quite summarised. Although I do like the shape. I would have the same problems, and it would get entangled in my ropes.
"Oh, thanks for the mental image. Ouch."

The man lifts a brow and seems amused by the exchange. "It's a contest prize." He sniffs. "They advertised the prize as a 'dream car'."
