Happy Valentine's Day

Here's Quint, pulling two shopping carts towards the sign area. They're piled full of assorted chocolates. "Hi everyone. Happy Valentines Day. I brought some chocolates to share with everyone." He'll wave a hand, showing off the piece he's been eating as proof the chocolates aren't LOLed. "They're safe. Or at least nothing's happened to me yet, so

Tomoyo smiles brightly at him. "Hello, and happy Valentine's Day to you, too!"

"It's about both." She loves this holiday, a fact that might be guessed at by the smile she'll be wearing all day. Actually, she smiles quite a bit on every other day, too, but he probably won't know that and anyway it's just a bit more today. "I like watching couples and enjoy the romance, but I think it's just as good for people who aren't in a relationship. I think it's a day to show love to everyone."

Quint nods agreement and smiles back. "It's nice to have a day to remember to be thankful that the ones you care about are in your life, too. Whether it's a romantic sort of caring, or family or friends."

And where there's chocolate, there's kids--and the Blitzkittens aren't any exception, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

"Ah...what's Valentine's day?" Blitzspark says, "And are those for anyone?"

"It's an Earth Holiday, and yes. I brought it here to share." He wonders how to explain the holiday further.

"Any holiday that has chocolate is a good one," Blitzfrost says, and each of the kittens take a small piece.

"Chocolate's one of my favorites, too," Quint says with a nod.

Lord Gromgard's education never included Valentine's Day, so he has no opinion to offer on it. The chocolate, on the other hand...

The Overlord stops and stares at it, two brown imp-like creatures with helmets and axes flanking him on either side. That is... food? Without pumpkin in it?

Let's just say the kitchens have been suffering shortfalls lately.

Quint nods. "Yes. Would you like some?"

He hesitates, and then raises a hand, directing one of the imp-like Minions forward. It runs over with a snicker and picks up one of the bars of chocolate to bite in half. (Without first unwrapping it. That's a bit sophisticated.) Its eyes - well, they're already glowing, but they light up a bit and it jumps up and down.

"Is goood!" it declares in a raspy little voice, then swallows the rest of the bar whole and runs back to... hug its master's waist.

Quint's a little puzzled by the lack of unwrapping the treat first, but if the Minion liked it that way he wouldn't say anything.
