It's been a while since Jackson was in the Nexus. As a matter of fact, it's been closer to a year for him than it hasn't and when he turns up again near the big, obnoxious sign, he's dressed in similar clothes to those he originally arrived in. That's right: awful white-and-khaki colonial garb, complete with dusty goggles and a bit of sand that insists on falling out of his boots. He pushes the goggles up into his hair, pulling down the cloth worn over the lower half of his face to protect him from the seasonal sand storms on Boeshane.

Although it's been a while, it doesn't take him that long to acclimate to the Nexus again. In fact, his first order of business after dusting the sand from his clothes is to find himself a tall glass of water and flop into the nearest, most comfortable armchair he can find. "So, uh ... what's the most romantic way to surprise a telepath for Valentine's Day? I hear it's supposed to be a holiday for lovers."

(Protip, Jackson: The best way probably doesn't include asking the Nexus at large without the benefit of anonymous, untraceable text. It's not really a surprise if/when Jono finds out.)
