"So what do you do when you get bored?" Mia asks.

Captain John looks up from his couch. "Hey, it's you! How's it going?"

He pauses to think about her question. "Come here, usually...or you know set up some sexy fun times."

[bigbooms]

Mia smiles brightly. "Hey! It's going." She chuckles just a little bit. "Why am I not surprised?"

John makes a show of pouting. "Are you call me obvious?"

He chuckles. "So why are you bored today? Surely someone with your powers would never get bored!"

[bigbooms]

"Maaaaybe," she grins. "I was just curious. That's all. And you know, blowing things us does get boring after a bit."

[hart_on_sleeve]

Cue the horrified look. "You kid! I could blow up things aaalll day."

Fortunately he doesn't because his current place of residence probably wouldn't go for that.

"S'pose you could read a book or something..." He shrugs. "Learn a new skill maybe? Dancing is always fun."

[bigbooms]

"It does get boring if that's all you're doing."

"I suppose. It's been awhile since I've been to the library. I used to spend a lot of time reading."

[hart_on_sleeve]

"Hmmm," John taps his bottom lip. "You've probably got a point there...there really needs to be property damage involved to make it really fun."

He looks at her curiously. "What changed?"

[bigbooms]

"I started living on my own and taking care of myself started taking a lot of time."

[hart_on_sleeve]

"Huh..." John looks over curious. "Imagine it would...you seem a little young to be cooking your own supper. Where're you parents?"
