Alida hasn't been poking around the multiverse or the sign for a while. But today she has a question. So have at it.

Is being watched while you sleep by someone you trust
Someone you care for
Creepy or endearing or something else?

"Distracting."

Distracting?

Are you that light of a sleeper?

What if the person in question is a lover? Does that change your answer?

"I've never had a lover. And yeah, I am. Things'll get you if you don't watch for them." River gives a slight smirk and a shrug as she types.

Lovers are nice in my opinion.

Oh. I agree. I just don't have to worry about things as much.

Depends. I have a hard time sleeping with other people in the room in general, myself, but I also have a healthy dose of paranoia. With the precious few who have earned my complete trust, it actually helps me sleep better.

Yes. That is what I meant.

Are they like gemstones, these precious few? Do they feel the same?

Each one is different. I don't know if I would say that they're like gemstones, but they are something else. One is like a blanket, warm and comforting. One is like a rock, strong and sturdy. The other I don't even notice, half the time, but I could hear him working on his latest project in the background, and that was comforting in it's own way.

That's good. All of it.

I can hear him moving in the house. I can hear the house. It's good to know they are there, even if you don't look for them.
