Also, that link is awesome. The cursor that showed up and moved on its own had me a bit worried, for a moment, that it'd somehow taken control of my armor's systems? But once I figured out what was going on, it was funny.

As for Halloween... I'm not sure. The lazy route is to load up the voice changer software and be the Master Chief again. (Even better, I used to have to paint my armor green, but my current armor's plating color is programmable.)

My apologies for the momentary worry. I've noticed in my meandering about the place that some people have a spectacular habit of asking after things like that despite already being on the internet. I thought I'd help the kids out.

Eh. It's cool, particularly since you're right. I mean, granted, a lot of folks are from worlds that've never had the incredible edible Internet, but still. Maybe the PINpoint's help thing needs more prominent instructions on using it for looking shit up.

There is that. Also, practical: It's not like kids will be coming to my military base out on the ass-end of the galaxy for Trick or Treat, so if I'm going to do the costume thing, I'm going out, which means off-world, which probably means the Nexus, which means I'm going to want my armor, because I generally don't really trust the place, even if individual spots are usually okay.

Sometimes I consider visiting in a giant hamster ball for my own safety, but I'd get bored. I'm my own conundrum.

I don't know, that could be kind of fun. Run around, bump into people and things. ...Hm. I wonder if I could get a hold of a hamster ball large enough to fit me and a Mongoose ATV. Probably have to get the wheels and drive train and whatever reworked a little to handle the round inner surface, but still.

Hm. I don't know, dude. A hamster ball is one thing, but dressing like a hamster's something else. I mean, nothing against the people living on Delta Anthropos III or anything, but that's really not my style.
