Brooke has never seen a skrull. Excuse her while she stares, a bit (unintentionally!) rudely.

Oh! She's back. "I thought I did cope. I was all done with coping. A lot of time has passed, too," she says with a sigh. "And I know that 'at some point' is coming up soon."

"Thinking you're over it and being over it are two seperate things, unfortunately. I would suggest you find someone you feel comfortable with and go to this place with them for moral support."

Even Brooke can't deny this as good advice. "I think I'll do that. Moral support can't hurt, right? Thanks, green guy."

He nods to her. "You're welcome. My name is Lyle by the way." A smile.

"Lyle. Right. I'm Brooke! It's nice to meet you."

[lyle_conners]

"Likewise." He chuckles. "Well I hope you are able to cope with the situation. It can take a great deal of willpower to do so."

"I hope so too," she says with a small smile. "I've been through a lot. I just need to...find some strength, to be all deep about it."

"I'm sure you will." He smiles encouragingly.
