"Oh? What makes y'do dat?" He cocks his head at the girl. "Dat's always a good way t'let t'ings be as I find it."

"I love him with my whole self and in return I want his whole self. That is all it is to it." Her own accent is distinctly Russian. She looks rather dispassionate, despite the subject. "Time will go on the course of itself if we change ourselves or not. That is how things are. You know this?"

"I s'pose it makes sense if'n y'ook at it so logically." Remy offers her a smile, he used to hang with Colossus after all. "O'course. Though whether we change ourselves or not dictates jus' how well we'll enjoy dat time.

"Hiya, Mister LeBeau!" Hana is an unnaturally cheerful blond walking two kittens on harness and leashes. 'Walking' may be too strong a word as every few steps, the black and white kitten pauses to tackle the calico.

"I have felt the need to change how I lived. And I did. And it helped a lot. I'm much happier now. As for relationships, I think it should be just one on one."

He cocks his head at the cheerful greeting, taking a moment to look her up and down. But no, he doesn't recognise her at all. The whole 'walking cats' thing kind of throws him for a loop too. "Well now, I don' b'lieve I've had de pleasure o' meetin' you b'fore, petit."

"Was dere somet'ing wrong wit' de way y'were livin' b'fore?" He smiles slightly. "I reckon I could agree wit' dat. Jus' tryin' to hold down one is work 'nough."

It is a work in progress. Hana is determined that, one day, those cats will walk on leashes. Her boyfriend says she's nuts. But, she has faith! "Oh! I'm sorry. You must be a different Mister LeBeau. All these alternates... I guess you don't have a son named Sebastien?"

"Yeah. Before I was living too dependent on other people. I'm much happier being more self reliant." She smiles and shrugs. "I want to feel special in a relationship. If he needed more than just me to be happy, then I don't think we should be together."

Well, Remy's surely seen stranger things. "Prob'ly am, petit. Don't t'ink I've seen you 'round here b'fore. An' if'n I do I surely don' know 'bout it." He chuckles.

"S'always a good way t'live," he concedes wistfully, "dependin' on people don' usually bring much o' nothin' but grief."

He breaks into a smile though. "An' dat's somet'ing I can understand well 'nough."

"Ah have and Ah did change it. It wasn't how a person should go on."

Rogue smiles a little toward Remy, "And relationships are just all kinds of complicated for me even with one person, let alone more than one person."

Oh look it's another Rogue. Not that he has baggage or anything! That whole 'being left to die' thing was so long ago after all. "I reckon you've told me 'bout dat b'fore, petit."

He smiles a little in return. "I know jus' how y'feel, chere."

They've been awful for each other, though she's nearly killed him at least twice. It is something she'll live with, in more than one way, for the rest of her life. "Ah'm sure yah do, Remy. People are hard tah understand at the best of times."

Thankfully, Remy hasn't really had to go through all that much. Having abandoned his world after being left in the Antarctic to die. "An' impossible t'reason wit' at de worst, non?"

He smiles slightly. "Y'look well, fille."

"Um... I prefer monogamy?" The Japanese teen looked like he was having trouble understanding something about the question, but was clearly uncomfortable with bringing it up.

It was the accent, really.

"But it's not - not for everyone."

"I t'ink mos' people would. De other option tends t'get difficult. Though some people can make it work." Never let it be said that Remy is not perceptive. So he drops the accent abruptly.

"No, it surely isn't. Need me to repeat another part of the question, pup?"

Enzan flushed. He was hoping Remy hadn't noticed his trouble, although the more he heard it, the more he could get used to it.

"N-no, I - " A sigh. "Please? I'm really... English isn't my first language."

Remy breaks into a grin, waving a hand dismissively. "Which part didn't you understand?"

"Hey Remy!" John gives the guy a wave and takes a moment to be impressed by the little display.

"Funny you should ask! I've just recently got myself into that situation!" He chuckles. "It's not that bad! Does cut down on the need to keep sidestepping the authorities among other things."

"And relationships!" He'll flop down on his couch and lean back. "Million dollar question, isn't it? Where I'm from...well, the idea that you should look to one person to fufill all your desires and whathave you is weird. But apparently the 21st century is the opposite and I'm in love with a 21st century girl, so..." He shrugs. "It's going pretty well so far! Fingers crossed!"

Remy throws him a casual salute in return, grinning. "Well, if it ain't Captain Hart."

He chuckles as well. "I s'pose congratulations are in order? Not havin' t'dodge authorities is gen'rally a good t'ing when dere's someone else in yo' life t'consider, non?"

"Surely is, mon ami. Y'ain't from de 21st century den?" That gets a contemplative nod. "It tends t'be good f'dem I s'pose. I wish you luck, friend."

John will produce a bottle of hypervodka. "Can't argue with that, especially when you can't avoid the authorties the usual way, just getting my arse off the planet in question!"

"Nope! From the 51st," his grin seems to say and proud of it!. "So this whole 21st century thing...big culture shock."

He opens the bottle. "Care for a sip?" He offers.

Remy will pull a packet of smokes and light one. He feels like he needs one right now for some reason. He light up with a charge from his finger before taking a deep pull on it, leaning back to blow the smoke up into the air. "Draggin' a partner across planets don' seem like a healthy way t'maintain a relationship, eh?"

"51st? Really now? T'ings surely got t'be dif'rent all dat way in de future. I can only imagine how dif'rent de 21st century'd be to it."

He declines with a smile, holding up his cigarette. "I'm good f'now."
