"For those of you who do the whole old-fashioned 'loyalty' thing, I have a question." There's a hint of self-deprecating humor to Gauron's tone, even though, admittedly, his sense of loyalty is a little looser than most. "What's the point at which you decide it's better to die than try to live to serve your lord another day?" He's been considering this question lately himself, as a matter of fact, though it hasn't caused him any anxiety; all things have their time, after all, and if Gauron's is drawing to an end, he's going to make his final mission something fun.
