John looks extremely affronted. "For your information, sir, I paid for that ticket in full! And while it was a cheap one, it's the thought that counts."

"Beer, huh? Nice of you to offer," he gives Methos an expectant look.

"No, I suggested you didn't pay the extra to be more comfortable, you misunderstood." Methos replies, shaking his head. Plus his mun was apparently full of fail when that got wrote.

Nah that's OK, John's being an arse, he's just trying to score a free drink.

"I don't know, I thought this was a classless society," John makes a show of looking innocent. "Level playing field, equal opportunity. This century affords yet another disappointment..."

It's not going to happen, though Methos is amused by his efforts.

"How can it be a level playing field when everyone is different and has different strengths and skills?" Methos asks.

John's rather stretching the truth there, it usually takes him a while to learn from anything.
