Jonas Fogg, to put it lightly, is distressed. He's pacing and fidgeting and generally feeling uncomfortable and for a very good reason: He thinks he forgot his own anniversary.

Which, for the record, he didn't forget it, he just forgot what day it was on. He remembers it was sometime around Valentine's Day, though not actually on that day, so that obviously counts as remembering, right? Right?

But there's also another problem, too. Even if he can be convincing enough for people to believe that he didn't forget about it, there's the small problem that he doesn't actually know what to do for his wife. So he looks around rather frantically, trying to see if she's around there or not, though he wouldn't fail to see the irony if she was.

"Say - say that there's someone that you need - and want - to get a gift for, but you... you don't really know what to get them. How does one get around that?"
