(no subject)
What appears to be a young woman drops into the Nexus, landing on her back with a soft thud. She lies there for a few moments, getting her bearings (this isn't like anything she's seen before, it's not the void where she was drifting a few moments ago), running her hands carefully over her face and body, to see whether everything's intact. (She looks the way she used to, before she aged and decayed and was reborn and then did it all over again, somehow.)
Then she sits up, and brushes dust off her jeans, and sees a sign.
"Ask a question? Okay... if a tree falls in the forest and no one's around to see it, does anyone care?" She laughs, a little sharply, pushing her glasses up on her nose. "No, I've got a real one, actually. If you have a stupid name, how do you stop people from making the same jokes about it every time you introduce yourself?" She looks around, giving the Nexus in general a little wave. "I'm You, by the way, nice to meet you."
