No, but my habits of being overcautious learned from my own world don't translate well here. I think I need to learn to relax a bit.

yeah... i was kinda the same at first? like not telling people stuff, then you kinda relax, annnnd then you find that really nexus people are pretty much as judgemental as regular people, just about different stuff, so you shut up again. fun.

Oh no, I mostly mean overcautious with the way I treat people. Bad breakup three years ago doesn't help that. Meh. ANYhoo, yeah, I mean, there's no such thing as an intellectual utopia. There will be people anywhere that piss you off.

Well, depends on the subject. I'm pretty open minded on a lot of things, but I get pissed about things like bullying.

i am really, really sick of the judgemental crap about it. but it's like that everywhere, so whatever, ig uess.

It's a fairly straightforward issue hopelessly tangled by people's sexual hangups. Amsterdam has it right, far as I'm concerned. But they've got it right about a lot. Spend as much time there as Kyoto.

those northern european countries get a lot of stuff right. i hear it's kinda expensive to live there though.

i notice that a lot of people who say they don't have any problem with, say, drugs or sex work, are the ones who are the most loudly judgemental about it when it comes to people they actually know. interesting.
