"Blow stuff up. For real or in a video game, depending."

This is probably heresy to you, but I can't play video games because I end up feeling there's something more productive I could be doing. AS for blowing things up for real, I unfortunately have to wait until a job requires that, and it's not like I get to take time to savor it then.

"Is that a morals thing or a practical thing? 'Cause I know of lots of places where we can just go blow stuff up. I also know of a shooting range that allows rocket launchers."

A bit of both? There's too great a chance of discovery in my reality if I stay close to home, but finding a place further away would take travel time, and my schedule is too full to allow it. ::At least the Nexus gives him extra time.::

I've never gotten to use a rocket launcher.

"I hit the gym, play with my two ginormous dogs, play pool, or brew beer. I also stress-bake on occasion, much to the benefit of pretty much everyone who likes cookies."

Working out hasn't helped me, and my cat is capricious. Maybe I should try making cookies. My team would certainly appreciate them.

"Yeah, the major benefit of stress-baking is that your friends are all grateful for the treats afterward. I admit, my stress relief is a little unorthodox, but so's my job,:

I know about unorthodox jobs.

The baking is worth a shot. Thank you.

"Dance, man! Great for your butt and it makes the stress melt away."

:D

I do that sometimes. I feel silly while dancing, though. I know I'm too self-conscious.

"Oh, hello Fujimiya-san. How have you been?"

"I usually read a book and have tea. Sometimes I go for a walk." Although last time she did that it didn't work out so well. Mio is still sporting a black eye from that incident, although it is mostly covered by makeup.

There have been good things and bad things going on....

I'm in a state where I can't settle down enough for a book and tea. I have been walking when I have the time.

"That's a shame, I find tea to be very calming. I don't have personal experience with any other methods," (That's a lie, but Mio isn't going to publicly admit to bullying Mizuki as method of stress relief.) "but people say that exercise is supposed to help. It releases endorphins, after all. But I'm sure other people have told you that."

"By the way, I wanted to thank you for your help with finding my house." Mio gives Aya small bow.

Yes. Working out and walking give me some relief but not enough.

::Aya bows back.:: You're welcome. I'm glad that I could help one of my sister's friends.

life is stress

There are times when it can reach toxic levels, though. I'm in one of those times.

then you struggle through

like the rest of us

you either can take it or not

Then consider this my way of asking people how they struggle through for more helpful ideas than what I'm using already.
