OH oh oh oh it is a puppy and he is All Up In Your Business if he has any business. Really big puppy though, and very wolf-like. woufh. :D

Andy gives a short soft howl. He likes that music!

He can't help himself - it's an ingrained response now. He tries to scratch the dog's head if it lets him, then laughs at the little howl.

And such a pretty face, yes! He vigorously scratches his head and jaw, kneeling down so he's got a better angle on things.

"It depends on what I'm doing. Rock is awesome to paint to. Metal is good to mellow out to, and classical is good for really appreciating what I'm hearing."

"Any particular artists?"

She shrugged easily, smiled. "Whatever's on the radio works for me."

"Oh. I'm trying to find something to supplement my playlist. Tom Waits is a living god, but there's only so many times you can listen to the same thing."

"Mozart."

Well, it's what he was listening to before taking a little walk to the Nexus today. He could add Wagner.

"It's...calming."

"Some of his stuff is. Is there anything in particular you'd recommend? I don't know as much about his works as I probably should."

"The Marriage of Figaro."

O.G. sounds quietly enthused.

"Janis Joplin. Lovely woman. Gave me this coat, you know."

"She - " He presses his hands to his face. "Of course she did. Any particular songs?"

[lostdoctor]

"Well, has to be 'Cheap Thrills' era. I have to go with 'Turtle Blues' or 'Piece of My Heart'. I'd like to go for one of the... clean periods, since I helped her get off that stuff, but you know what they say about tortured artists."

He didn't know. He hazards, "They die too young?"

"I tend to be equally comfortable with the drum-heavy stuff the boys are into and the cheerful lyre-reliant music Aurelia prefers, says the big middle-aged man in the rather familiar tunic and metal bracers.

He was going to begin collecting Aristan sightings. He's already got the girl one, the one-armed one, and now he's got the middle-aged one. And of course, he's got the Blue Kahuna.

"Are those the only styles of music you guys have?"

The dreamy thought of a paper on the Aristans drifts through his head again, then is quickly quashed. Be good, Metody.

"Well, they're hardly the only two instruments. We occasionally have music that's strongest on the woodwinds, but I can't say there's really too wide a variety, except when people are incorporating something foreign, and I just don't happen to be as familiar with those."

He extends a hand. "General Marc. Aristan Foundling Guard."

He shakes his hand politely, closing it around his wrist as he's seen people here do.

"Metody Green. Um. I'm a student and teacher." Of sorts. He really needs a more impressive title.
