(no subject)
It's not unusual for the General to be in the Nexus. Not by a long shot. But it is kind of uncommon to see him dressed to the nines and dolled up like he's James effing Bond. He lingers near one of the armchairs and taps his fingers along the top seam of the upholstery. Silence hangs onto him for a few minutes, just so he can watch everyone pass him by. Once he's ready, a question is asked.
"How do you keep someone from falling in love with the wrong person?" Crickets chirp, confusion rises. "Or..uh, what do you do to make someone fall in love with you?"
