Soma was doing his own search in the nexus when he spotted the man once again. He quickly ran over. "I haven't found him, but I do have bad news, at least one other person is missing. I think my worst suspicions might be confirmed."

"I see. Well, I appreciate that as much as one can appreciate unwelcome news, Mr. Cruz. Who was it, out of curiosity?"

"A good friend of mine, actually. His name is Phoenix Wright." He explained. "'Bout my height, spiky hair, blue suit." Soma gave the quick description as he looked about, to keep himself from fretting too much. "He's not a fighter, so I'm more then a little worried."

"Met him briefly. Seems a good fellow, and Luc speaks well of him. Worry's certainly understandable." Marc frowns. "Hard to think of anything to be done. Luc and Aurelia are much better at understanding how this place works than I, and she doesn't have any ideas about finding him."

"Dying. Pain in the ass."

"I should think so. Did you actually lose them, or was it one of the....less permanent situations once hears about here?"

"Nah man, dead as in dead. I didn't have the biggest army, either, so it really kind of sucked when they didn't show up to listen to me."

Marc nods. "A smaller force feels the losses the hardest."

"I'm a teacher. This new teacher at my school forgot an important guideline for teaching the younger kids. Don't let them get up and wander from their desks to help the others. As nice as the kids are....they get bored pretty quickly with that. then things get...Messy," the woman shrugs and smiles a little helplessly. "I'm sorry your man is missing. I hope you can find him soon."

"Thank you, ma'am. And yes, little ones have to be kept in order or chaos breaks out pretty well."

She chuckles and dips her head a bit. "They do. Kids are pretty good. But you need to give them things to do or like you said chaos breaks out."

Marc nods. "It's all about structure. Reliable routines." Marc may be -- Marc is thinking of a greater extreme of order than the lady, but it's what he knows, and he means well. "How old are most of your students, ma'am?"

"For two days, you say?" Grint inquires. He's been summoning things for the past two days and looks like hell because of it. "That's how long my son's been unreachable."

"Any ideas? My boy was at a party. Gave an approximate location at his last check-in, but there's nothing there."

"I know; I already sniffed around out there." Literally. "There had been a portal there, but it shut - abruptly, from what I could tell. And I'd say it was keyed to specific people, since not everyone at the party was taken."

Marc almost growls. "We had thought our only enemies with a Nexus presence had been taken care of. I can't think of why he'd be targeted."

Ami is fully outfitted and tapping her pen against her chin. "Not particularly, but... supposedly there were suspicious goings on at a party, and the timing just about matches up."

Marc nods. "He was going to a party. That does seem to be it, then. Any ideas, miss?"

"My only idea right now is to gather as much information as possible... one of my friends was caught in the same thing, and I didn't even start researching it until just now --" you can see her cursing herself.

"Sailor Mercury." She extends a hand.

"General Marc." He takes her wrist firmly-but-gently. "Which of yours was taken? I don't know too many people here, but Luc's reported on a lot."
