He blinks at Isamu's choice of attire before continuing. "Didn't you dislike wearing shorts?"

He shrugs, but not very intensely. It's barely detectable from inside the blanket. "I got sick."

"Do the nutrients in milk count? Not much use when one is sick, I know. But they allow one to pretend some relevance to one's health for ice cream. Are you all right?"

"Of course! In the living world, they even have milk with extra vitamin D in it. Sometimes it's strawberry-flavoured, too!" (He retreats to his Happy Place for a second.)

(Now he's back!) "Yes, thank you. ... Well, I don't know. I seem to have come down with something. I suppose it's the season for it, but nothing's really been going around, so..." he shrugs. It's a mystery. "How are you?"

"Strawberry? I really should accompany my hostesses to the grocery store more often. I am very well, thank you. Some recent events were unfortunate, but make everything very pleasant by being over, if you understand me. I certainly hope whatever you have is minor."

"There are a lot of good things at the store," Hanatarou agrees. "I think I know what you mean. I don't like the way I feel when everything is dangerous or hectic, but I love the way I feel as soon as it's not anymore."

He sniffles gratefully. "Thank you very much! I hope so too."

"That's a good reason! I think I like C and D best." ^_^ "I'm very well, thank you. I'm a little sick right now."

"They have very useful functions too. Well, all vitamins have useful functions... otherwise they wouldn't be vitamins... probably." Frown. "Mm, not really... It seems a bit like a... you know, respiratory... viral... thing. Only I can't think of who I got it from. I didn't start feeling bad until yesterday evening."
