He shrugs. "I'm okay. Kinda... nervous." He spits that last word out belatedly, as if he kind of hates to admit it.

"I will be,probably by this time tommorrow. We ran into a scout for the Southern Tribe, so that means we're close. I... don't really know much about it yet. Guess that's a big part of it. I mean, I know the tribes can't differ too much and the pack we'll be in will have more than just the kids and old folks the other had. Other'n that I don't really know what to expect."
