There's a skinny boy-thing in the Nexus. It seems Lawrence has found another Convenient Nexus Couch to perch on, and another question that needs answering. That look in his eyes says he's .2 seconds from getting himself into trouble and relying on you to stop him. Or, y'know, aid and abet, whatever.
"So say somebody turns you down once or twice - not 'cause they're not interested or nothing, just 'cause of... circumstances." Yep, those would be some shifty eyes there. Like anybody can't guess what kind of circumstances keep Lawrence from getting dates. "But say they're not really very valid circumstances, and you're about 150% sure they'd change their mind if you pushed hard enough..."
"How terrible and manipulative is it to, uh, push hard enough? Scale of one to ten."
