Vincent nods once.

Vincent glances into Isley's eyes for a moment, then looks away. He hadn't meant to bring up bad memories. "I'm sorry."

Vincent tilted his head in a slight nod.

((Both our pups have red eyes. Yay. Vincent's are more of a cinnamon or cherry-wood color, though.))

Oh, wow. The smell was good, but it was so strong. Vincent squeezed his eyes shut and blinked them. ((My pup's senses work at about 5 times the average human's.))

There was a slight pause. He supposed most people who would try to hurt Shelke or himself already knew of her existance. "I am the god-father of a young girl."

Ah. That was better. Was that smell emanating from this man?

Vincent nods twice.

"Vincent Valentine." Vincent has a firm, but gentle handshake. ((Supposing it's his undamaged hand, not the gauntlet.))

There is a slight pause. A respectful question, and one which he hadn't expected. "Vincent is fine."

He nodded once, with a shadow of a smile in his eyes.
