"Actually, I can make instant ramen and add ketchup, hot sauce, mustard, or whatever happens to be liquid and in the 'fridge that will make it not taste like the physical embodiment of bachelorhood. I don't want to eat that, though."

Pastries of any sort, especially muffins. I'm never certain -how- they wind up so befouled, but they do.

What sort of muffins do you like? And, will you keep trying to learn how to make them, or have you decided it's something that can't be helped?

Cranberry-orange muffins and chocolate with chocolate chips are my favourites, but anything that's not savory is fine with me.

It's gotten to the point where my dark and vile muffin fate has been accepted. *sigh*

Do you dislike savory foods in general, or is it just your muffins that you always want to keep sweet? :o
I haven't had those kinds, but maybe I'll see if I can try them. I like bran muffins with honey, myself.

Do they always turn out wrong in the same way, or do they get messed up in random ways every time?

I don't think I've ever had pound cake. What is it like?

"It's just this really dense cake. Usually it's vanilla but you can make it different flavors. I'll have to see if I can get some. Food's just one of those things you have to try for yourself, I think."
