The grunt was once again sitting on his wall, this time with a little black rabbit sitting on his lap. It happily munched on a carrot as he stroked it's fur and played with its ears

The rabbit turns his head and looks at him like he's stupid. Which is probably true, but that's not the point. The point is, the rabbit isn't an ordinary rabbit. Oh no. It's a magic rabbit. Or so it likes to believe.
So it goes about it's business eating it's carrot, ignoring the foolish people around him.
"Hi, Fiver, this is LiBunny," he gestures to the rabbit, who doesn't really seem to care. "You can call me Basil. I'm guessing you'd be the best person I could ask about taking care of a rabbit, huh?"
And here's more of the pet brigade! Fluffy streaks towards the grunt and rabbit like a little blue arrow, chirruping at the pair. He seems agitated, and his owner's nowhere to be seen.
((Warning: Caboose just got hit by a nasty LOL on Sages... think kittens covered with spikes.))
Fluffy lands on the wall next to the pair, still chirruping away; he's gesturing somewhere towards the depths of the Nexus with his head, and just about broadcasting a feeling of distress and confusion.
Basil frowns. "What's wrong, Fluffy? Is Caboose okay?" He strokes the little fire lizard's head, hoping to calm it down some. "Is he in the Nexus somewhere?"
"I think masculinity is more of an attitude than a set of traits," Li says, leaning against the wall next to Basil. His hair is down and he looks like a wreck with bandaged fingers and the appearance of not having slept in a couple of days, but he smiles up at the other man with all of his usual overexhuberance. "I haven't seen you in a little while, Basil! How've you been?"
"Hey, I've been good! I was just getting LiBunny here settled in back at my place. You, however, don't look so good. What happened?" he asks, wrapping an arm around Li's shoulder.
"Oh, I'm fine, just having a bit of trouble sleeping. These are unrelated," he says of his bandaged fingers, which he tries to hide as he rests his head on Basil's shoulder lazily. Maybe he'll sleep there. "LiBunny? I didn't know you had a pet rabbit."
Basil frowns and his mind drifts back to the alternate he discovered not too long ago. Could he be related to Li's sleeping problem? He hoped not, but there was always a chance. "A freaky guy with these two bags threw him at me," he explained. "He was too cute to leave behind, so I took him home with me. Then I came back and... well, I saw someone who looked like you. He seemed to be in a bit of trouble, actually."
"Gosh, I have no idea about rabbits!" It sure did look cute too.
"Men's suits, ties, things like that. Oh, and jock straps, boxers, and tightie whities. And yes I suppose. I obviously don't wear them, but know how to remove them if asked to do so." And provided my hands aren't too stiff.
"That's okay, I don't really either. You can pet him if you want," he offers, then looks around. "That is, if I could find him. He must have hopped off when I set him down to help Caboose."
"You think... underwear is masculine?" That seems a bit odd to him, but he didn't think he was one to judge.
For a moment, the grunt contemplates informing the woman that up until recently, he hadn't exactly been wearing underwear, but he figured that was too much information, and kept quiet about it. Instead he just shakes his head and replies, "Appearantly I've been missing something then."
Cureall is still feeling bouncy from the OMG best compliment she has ever recieved, and she is still beaming in pleasure and nuzzling her baby blue fire lizard.
"He will need special vitamins especially C to protect him from scurvy."
((And yes the mun knows that's for Cavies and not Rabbits but she knows more about cavies.))
Pet stores. He should have thought of that sooner. "Right. I hadn't thought of that. I just gave him some carrots I found in the fridge and let him hop around my room. Actually, I haven't even been outside Caboose's apartment yet. I should probably do that soon..."

"Some kinds, most definitely." Biting her lip, she's on the verge of TMIing the poor guy. Just don't go there!
