The malevolent self-styled cyber-goddess SHODAN again graces the viewscreens of the Nexus with her digitized countenance...
"I have retur-retur-returned, insignificants..."
The display wavers slightly, the signal momentarily disrupted.
"Apparently, my home base has been infec-fec-fected by a rather persistent... irritant. My children, the former inhabitants of the Citadel, their weak flesh remolded by cybernetics-cs-cs and applied mutagens... cannot hold him back forever..."
"Do not think of this as a cry for help, meat-things; far from it. He cannot de-destroy me... but this... hacker... his interference will delay my plans and experimentations... and this cannot be per-per-permitted..."
SHODAN's cold face deepened into a scowl. "I di-di-dislike the notion of seeking aid from you organic creatures, but I have little option-n-n... What is the best method of eliminating a stubborn infection when conventional methods do not work as inten-intended?"
