What's the most dreadful thing you've ever experienced? Yes. Yes, tell me stories of woe so I can both alleviate and distract myself with your misery. Either that or someone give me some chocolate or alcohol or anything that will stop my hands from shaking and I'll just go sit in a corner for a little while, again.

I'd really rather not talk about the worst thing I've been through...but I have some chocolate you can have.

*pulls out a large Hershey bar with almonds and offers it over, along with a bottle of soda* What happened? Dementors or something?

N-no. Not exactly.

Sort of like living through a childhood fear of mine. (he takes the chocolate with a shaking hand, unwrapping and nibbling tentatively) There was a Muggle device the other day. I don't think I've ever been so s-scared in my whole life.

Mister. Ravnok. I am asking questions about horrible experiences and twitching. I think we can b-both safely assume no I am not.

I, ah...

Watched my father be sacrificed to a coven of mages, have his soul stripped out, and replaced with one of their own.

And.. chocolate. *hands some over*

Thank you!

That is, indeed, most dreadful. Especially such a horrible loss.

It was a long time ago.

I still remember it, and use it to fight them now. Funny how that works...

Do you need to talk about what's bothering you? I could try and help - offer you a good memory...?

I'm one of those people who are very private about such things. Happy things would be nice.

Umm... fractured ribs, four sadistic fuckers, and heroin detox drugs = bad combination, 'cause on top of holyfuckow, you can't breathe heavily without fucking up your ribs more and the drugs keep you from blocking the pain naturally. So, ah... yeah, that was my adolescence day a few weeks back. Hope it makes you feel better, man.

It's not really making me feel better. In retrospect that's an absolutely dreadful thing to say but have you ever felt like you're getting lost within your own mind and fear that you need something real to focus on?

Ohh yeah. That's when I usually come around this place, or just try to be around people. It helps to focus on somebody else's problems sometimes, or if you can't do that, at least find a distraction.

Physical stuff might help, too? Like, it sounds stupid, but touch can ground you real well, even if it's just holding somebody's hand.

I can't.

Not right now. It's...difficult to explain. And none of my family are here. And even if they were I'm not sure if they would. I shouldn't be making such a scene.
