Despite the apparent prevalence of discussions on relationships here, I find myself in a bit of a quandary. I appear to have entered into a...well, I don't know quite what to call it exactly, but a relationship of some kind, with a person who was formerly (and perhaps still is, though I'm not quite sure on that front) an object of affection to a dear friend of mine. I'm...not sure how to proceed. Or even if I should proceed at all.

...Well that's bloody confusing.

All right, the question is this. Should I back off from him, tell her and watch the fireworks (or waterworks), or continue as things are and hope for the best?
