One Piece...the Fangirl in Me
For all those who have ventured the Dealer's Room at cons with me, you know that I'm always looking out for the Once Piece Chara Fortune collectible figures. (Never knew what they were called until now) I first came across them at an Anime Expo (2007?2008?) and recently found a new version at Katsucon 2010. I had a fandom moment...envi was my only witness... <.< >.> ...
Anyhow, these things are so cute! (And SO hard to find!! No other con I attended had them in stock!) The first series is still my favorite, but I will continue to collect future series of these cute little buggers.
The first series:
SO CUTE!!!! I have all but the normal Chopper, heart eyed Sanji and beli eyed Nami. (In that mix I ended up with 3 Zoros and 2 of the same 'secret' Choppers that aren't pictured.) Btw, Usopp has NEVER looked better. XD

And these are the cute little packages! See, there are two mystery Choppers; I got one, but not the other. :\ Still, I got the majority of them, plus my doubles/triples...all for....$80 bucks...
Second series:
Ha ha ha, large enough? I have all but the Franky and normal Chopper. (I have him in the....pink 'bear' robe?) I was given a pretty good deal on them. I purchased them for $50. I know...I know..I'm a fangirl...
Package art. I got both secret characters, Luffy and Zoro!
I love their advertisement art for this series!! I want the boat. :P
In my defense, I normally don't collect anime 'things'; I still love Gloomy, but have been disappointed at the recent quality of merchandise. As far as anime goes, I pick up 'collectibles' very casually. But these little guys I'll gobble up right away. XD (And only the One Piece ones!) I promise...I'm not a creepy Otaku!! Facebook was wrong about me!!! Why am I defending myself? I'm normal. <.< >.>
P.S. OH NOES!! It looks like I have one more series to get my hands on! T_T
Why is this the only picture of this series that I can find? Thriller Bark...one of my lesser favorite archs. Which is strange 'cause I love me some zombies. I guess after Robin's arch, nothing could get better than that....with the exception of the two latest manga scanlations. Wheew-ieee!
