For Mi Lolita Chicas
I've set up an LJ Community for sewing Japanese Fashion that is similarly set up like Sew Loli. (Except this is for everything but lolita. We love the Sew Lolita community!!) Anyone is free to post; let me know if you want to help out with the community. I've refrained from posting it because it doesn't look very Jfashion-y, but that can come later. (Also, I've been meaning to email the mods at Sew Loli to let them know we exist and are not trying to step on their toes or anything. Haven't gotten around to it though.)
A fun thing that a few of us have decided to do are Monthly Challenges!! (listed below)
January 2010 - Fairy Kei
February 2010 - Alice and Wonderland (to wear for the March showing of the movie)
March 2010 - Alternative Kimono (to wear for the Sakura Festival)
April 2010 - Military Lolita
This month is Fairy Kei, so please join us while we create some new exciting designs!! Kiyomi, Mousse and I have chosen colors to work with; Kiyomi has purple, Mousse has mint and I have pink. (This in no way means that no one else can work with these colors, but it would be fun if we could have a meet up with all different colors!) Yay for our own crazy colored wigs too! (Having a hard time finding mint for Mousse..)
